I forgot about Incubus' new album, ill have to check it out, but Nimble Bastard wasnt anything great.

Skip it. Their last best was S.C.I.E.N.C.E and that's quite dated sounding now.
Take it.

The new self titled The Life and Times record.

If you're not on with them yet, what in the actual fuck are you doing? Get on it.

I actually can hear Weiland singing Out Through the In Door... Seems like a song he could have written anyway In any event, these guys are next level.
Take it.

So is this you, or one of your friends? That first song's intro is pretty cool, but it's mixed and/or recorded pretty terribly.

Me too! There's a new CKY tune out today. Of course it's not anywhere near as good as the music they released almost 20 years ago, but you can't get mad at them for wanting that paycheck, right?

Nope, don't know them at all. The singer sang and played guitar in the band Shiner in the mid-to late 90's and early 2000's/. Shiner and TLAT are both from a mix of Kansas City and Chicago so they play here in Chicago pretty frequently.

If you guys don't know who The Life and Times are, you're doing it wrong.
Take it.

I think they need a new producer, but the ideas are there. Out Through The In Door sounds like Weiland and Songs For The Deaf era QOTSA had a baby and the baby wasn't no sucka.

Started listening to a lot of Incubus after new song....really into Aqueous Transmission and Echo right now

Two of my favorite Incubus tracks of all-time. I just love the groove of that album. Actually, listening to Incubus right now.

Absolution Calling - Incubus

Has any of the new stuff taken hold with you?  I listened to a song or two a while back but it didnt grab me.  I loved Morning View/A Crow Left of the Murder.

It's pretty evident that Skrillex mixed the album as I felt my car shake while I was driving.

Other then that, it's not bad. State of the Art is a nice pop song. No Fun seemed like a half-hearted attempt at a Make Yourself/Morning View era track.  I'm digging the Loneliest. The last track, Throw Out the Map, is pretty good too. Overall though, it's alright.

I can't say much for the Skrillex effect b/c ive been listening to it mostly on my phone but I agree with you, a couple a songs of skippable tunes but overall it's a good effort by them.

Paul, did you get inspiration from King Diamond?
