I'll reserve judgement for after I hear the whole album but so far I like the new approach. Josh isn't Froosh and will never will be embraced as such. They already tried their hand at a typical RHCP-sounding record with Josh last go-around and it sounded a little tired. Quite frankly, the switch on guitar is the perfect opportunity to try something new. As a fan of Danger Mouse, I'm glad they are thinking outside the box.

And I read earlier today that they might dust off some songs off of One Hot Minute. It'll be great to hear those songs live again.
