The Sword "Age Of Winters"

Excellent choice. Introduced to them when Age of Winters came out, but I REALLY got into them when Warp Riders was released. I have been a big fan of them since.

Gotta say it's probably my favorite track off of No. 4 right now.

Additionally, the impossible has happened. I have finally warmed up to Pruno. For some reason, spinning the No. 4 vinyl really opened my ears to the song. Only took about 18 years

They kind of remind me of chevelle but better. Another great new band is Mount Holly they have a couple of tracks on youtube album TBA former Silvertide/Shinedown guitarist.

They kind of remind me of chevelle but better. Another great new band is Mount Holly they have a couple of tracks on youtube album TBA former Silvertide/Shinedown guitarist.

Beh, checked out Lower Than Atlantis and they're totally not better than Chevelle. Pretty bitchin' instrumentals but the vocals leave something to be desired.


Chevelle's a band I've stuck with through the years and their album's haven't gotten worse as they release more music, but they seem less memorable. If that makes sense. They kinda play it safe and never really break their mold. Great lyrics though, always. Poetic like Weiland.

I'm still waiting for a new band that really knocks my socks off, but it hasn't happened yet. Lots of great instrumentals, but these new rock singers just lack something that puts them on that other level.

You have to check out Inglorious great music great singer also Heavens Basement was great but the singer left and Mount Holly is another great band.
