Young The Giant's self titled album. Just downloaded it yesterday, I liked the two singles from this album and decided to give it a shot
Please tell me how you like it after a listen or two, I'm trying to get into them and Imagine Dragons.
I'm actually listening to the album for the third time right now. I don't love it, but I do like it. My Body, Cough Syrup, and Guns Out are the best songs IMO. Overall I'd say it's a solid debut effort and I'm intrigued to see what else they have to offer in the future.
And Vaporized, how were you able to listen to the new Soundgarden album already? I don't really know why I'm asking, because if it leaked I'm gonna wait for it to officially come out anyway. I'm just superstitious/OCD about these kind of things, even though I CAN'T WAIT to hear the album
Thanks Wickedgarden23, for getting back to me, I appreciate it. I really liked "My Body", I'll have to listen to them a bit. There are a few bands like that I've been looking into, Imagine Dragons, Passion Pit, MGMT, and Grouplove.
I'm also EXTREMELY stoked for King Animal, I looked for album/song leaks the other day to no avail. Been Away Too Long was a super rocking throwback for me, made me remember why I dig Soundgarden. I expect more of that, not only more, but even better material off the album. I promised myself I'd buy the album when it came out, no matter what, back when they announced it for the first time. Now that I've heard a single, I'm happy that I've made that promise.
