Just got the album today!
I bought the Target exclusive deluxe edition of it yesterday. Listened to it all the way through today, it was fantastic. They definitely went more of a new wave direction with it, but the inclusion of instruments like the trumpet are awesome and still give it that vague Ska feel. This album has the most trumpet and stuff since Tragic Kingdom, in addition to steel drums and what have you. The target deluxe special addition had a great cover of Adam Ants "Stand & Deliver", which is absolutely fantastic. Along with a bunch of acoustic tracks. My favorite song off Push and Shove is probably Push and Shove or Undercover. The entire thing is pretty fantastic though. The only song that I could take or leave is Undone. The entire album was well worth it though.
