Papa Roach - Lifeline

I'm not a big fan of Papa Roach, but that's a great song.

I didn't care for their last album much, but that song is one of the bright spots.

Pearl Jam - Do The Evolution
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

That Pearl Jam self-titled album was surprisingly good. They really won me back with Yield, but the self titled album was a nice surprise. Backspacer (the most recent) was totally unlistenable to me. I just didn't care and couldn't get into it.

I'm listening to Starless from Crossfade at the moment.

David Bowie - Space Oddity

This song is pure genius. It's new to me, but I can imagine how overplayed it is for his fans.

It's Bowie's ILS... never gets old. So so beautifully written

See, now I thought Backspacer was their best since Yield. (My personal favorite) Self-titled is solid. I absolutely LOVE Come Back. Easily one of my top ten favorite PJ songs of all-time.

all of my love by led zeppelin.

i used to dislike this song bc i thought it was a cheesy love song written by robert plant to some girl he was with for a little bit or something,  but after looking into it several years ago i learned this song was actually entirely about the death of his son Karac in 1977 and it was like i had heard the song for the first time again and have loved it ever since. robert plant recorded the vocals in one take! i think it was a great move of doing one-take, because singing the lyrics of a song you wrote about the death of your young child for the first time brings out a certain emotion in youthat cant be replicated
poor kid died of a stomach infection at the age of 5.
also it gave me a whole new aspect of my listens of songs from their last album "In through the outdoor."
plant describes that album perfectly with this quote "In '77, when I lost my boy, I didn't really want to go swinging around - 'Hey hey mama say the way you move' didn't really have a great deal of import any more. In Through The Out Door is more conscientious and less animal."

RIP Karac.
