Marginally more xmassy, yes. 

I strongly suspect it's just another image knocked up to have something to show though. I really can't believe they'd use some awful cameraphone picture for an album cover, especially one snapped mid movement with an really silly expression on his face.

The terrible album cover and now an early Oct. release? Sure I'd like to hear new material sooner but for the sake of sales I would rather see a late Nov./early Dec. release

The second is better, but not by much. I think the classic style text helps.

If one of those horrid covers is indeed the actual cover (or a similar one) then I'm thinking we should have an album cover design contest.
No prizes, unless someone wants to donate something.

Also, I hadn't realized until the B&N link that was just posted, but he's putting out this album through Atlantic Records....wonder if any solo stuff was a stipulation in his renegotiation when STP reunited, or if he actually settled on them.
