Scott is recording a Christmas record

Doug just tweeted that he is recording strings for Scott's christmas album. He also posted a picture of the musicians playing. Unless it is a joke, which I highly doubt, it seems we will all have a special christmas gift from Scott this year. Hopefully it comes to frution, lest we forget about the live Weiland album last year, in which we saw cover art for.

No, I thought he would look older actually from all the years of drinking, but he doesn't look too bad at all.  That's why I thought he might of had a little work done.  I hope Weiland never feels the need to start getting a whole lot of surgery, because I know his image is a big priority for him.  It would probably really piss me off if he did.

Only because when this was shot...he wasn't there and Todd Newman had to get creative with old Scott camp freddy footage cut in to make it look like he was....
 
except the megaphone shot....there is no megaphone in the Christmas song. It still cracks me up.

I want the entire package under my tree: the book, live album and Christmas record. What? Anything can happen on Christmas :P

I was trying to think what other Christmas song requires a string section...my guess is "The Christmas song (chestnuts roasting on a open fire).

I have to assume that this will include recordings of 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas' and 'Christmastime Is Here'.
 
Also, I'd be willing to bet that he does 'The Christmas Song' (Nat King Cole), 'Happy Xmas: War Is Over' (John Lennon), and 'Merry Christmas... I Don't Want To Fight Tonight' (The Ramones).  What else would you guys want to hear?
