STP Festival Thought

Still trying to figure out this STP festival and if/when it'll happen.  If it does I thought a cool setup would be:

Opener:  Scott Weiland Solo material w/ Grean and Co.
2nd Act:  Talk Show
3nd Act:  Army of Anyone
4th Act:  Slash solo w/ whomever leadsinging
5th Act:  Filter
6th Act:  Velvet Revolver
Closer:   STP
Closer:  GnR

One could dream, right?

An STP festival is as good as dead I think. Wish it had happened.

With the looks of the tour dates, I could only see a festival show being September 11, 12, or 18. Not sure if they would do one close to October. They just put out some new dates so it's not like they aren't still booking shows. Of course knowing STP and how things go, they won't end up doing it. Just note, they've gotten more promotion on this tour then I've seen in a while so who knows. For the No. 4and SLDD eras, I would have said no chance in hell.
