so my source is one of the sponsors who i was supposed to get tickets from, they were never delivered them because they said it was canceled with a possible reschedule in October, I wasn't able to find anything online about it except it was removed from STP's site.

As far as the venue being too big, i dont know about that. it is a really small arena. One of the smaller ones i have ever been in. They are only using half of it as well.

understandable, it will probably be announced day of is my guess, they want to get still as many tickets sold with a rescheduled date, that is the way it is usually done.

I know someone who called the venue and they confirmed also that it has been rescheduled...try calling for yourself. It is quite obvious as well that STP took it off their site, it's pretty much all but been announced by the band.

Well damn, I was really looking forward to this show..looks like I'll just have to wait a bit longer. I wonder why they canceled...maybe they are filming the music video for Cinnamon?

Due to scheduling conflicts, Stone Temple Pilots September 16th concert at Viejas Arena has been rescheduled to October 26th at Viejas Arena. Tickets for the September 16th date will be honored at the October 26th date. Refunds are available at point of purchase.

I feel bad for my friend that was going today. She's had a solo SW show cancel on her when he got arrested. VR show canceled because he went to rehab the night before her show. And now a STP show. She's got the worst luck.
