Favorite Scott Weiland music video
« on: July 24, 2010, 03:34:49 AM »
So this includes, STP, VR, SW Solo, Magnificent Bastards etc

There are many awesome Scott Weiland music videos, but one that sticks out in my mind is when he was in VR with She Builds Quick Machines! He was simply a badass in this one. Plus in this video in particular he looks like a young Clint Eastwood dressed in an old western movie style. Can't go wrong there! He's an outlaw taking care of business and gets in a duo in a wild wild west setting. He could really look like he could be in an old western movie. Can't forget all the explosions in the video as well. Action packed! Alot of SW videos come a close 2nd but I always thought that was my fav!  ;)

Lady Picture Show is my pick. Something about a great rock'n'roll ballad paired with pseudo-artistic images of nude women makes a great music video.

By that logic, The Last Fight has a pretty awsome video, too.

Sex Type Thing live (1992-2002) off of the Stone temple Pilots 'Thank You' dvd.

But if we're talking plainly music videos... I would say the Slither Video.

He looks badass and those silver pants? AWESOME.
AND I THINK I THINK TOO MUCH...

Songs are emotions in sonic form and I had a lot of emotions at the time. And each of those emotions inspires its own sound."- Scott Weiland on recording "12 Bar Blues" album

I still love the Slither video. It was the first I ever saw of Scott. THE silver pants.. :P haha.

Close to that is She Builds Quick Machines. I love the western touch in it with the gunfights and stuff. It's awesome.
