« on: July 21, 2010, 06:52:28 PM »
A totally different vibe on this demo as we all know! and how does it feel!? great!

dont know bout you guys but id love it if they re-record this demo ! maybe not for any commercial issue, just for the fans you know? post it as a free download on their website

if they do that, the most remarkable changes are gonna be scott voice obviously and the quality of the music
Seems like you left me when you broke down

As amazing as this would be I dont see there being any chance o that happening.  First It would take a lot of time for them to do this which they dont have with their touring schedule.  And Second of all I dont think that Ive ever heard them even talk about their demo so I doubt they would be inclined to re record it......  But we can all dream cant we  :)

Scott doesn't even remember he wrote a song during the MJY era called "Fast As I Can"......I doubt they would ever re-record or release any of these tracks (the exception being "Only Dying" of course)

I agree... 'Only Dying' should definitely be a studio-recorded release someday.

Well, they did re-record "Only Dying" in 1993.......it's just sitting in the vaults gathering dust at the moment.

I definitely agree that they should at least release the demos with the core special edition.

I'd love to hear a new "Fast As I Can". That'd be amazing.

Yeah, preferably one without just the name being used again. :D

I don't understand why everyone thinks STP needs to re-release MJY demos for their 20th anniversary. That demo was recorded over 20 years ago. If anything to revert back to, it'd be Core. Since it was actually recorded 20 years ago. Just sayin.
