I would love to see STP cover Flirtin' with disaster by Molly Hatchet. Has a country twang but its still rocks and has some edge, or Mississippi Queen by Mountain. That would just totally be badass!!!

I'd love to hear STP doing a cover of Paul Mccartney: "My Love", I think it's a beatiful song, Scott probably will nail it, and even the solo has a DELEO-vibe :P ( this is because for some reason this song always remind me "Hello it's late" ).

random fun fact.. I was on the same plane as molly hatchet last year when I went on a trip to Lebanon.  They looked like theyd lived a long life of drug abuse haha.

i always thought stp would do an excellent cover of tangerine by zeppelin... kretzo and the deleos love to do zepp and the lyrics would remind scott of mary so i think his vocals on the song would have an emotional touch and it would all come out spectacular ;D

How about "Lips Like Sugar", from Echo & The Bunnymen? It's got a great drum beat with guitars that the DeLeo's could dress up a bit, and Weiland could probably cover it in that great vocal tone used in "I Know It's Too Late".

I'm not gonna say I've been waiting for this one for years, but after thinking about it a bit, I think it'd be a fantastic STP cover. It's going to be hard for them to cover anything that sounds better than "Revolution", though. Seriously that was one of the most incredible covers I've ever heard. Blows away the "Dancing Days" track.
