What a clusterfuck. I'm glad I don't have to deal with this bullshit for the European tour.

So how much do those different packages cost? I would think that the backstage one must be expensive.

The funny thing is they are not listed yet... Hmmm surprise?? The third package (ten rows, guitar picks, shirt) was the one they offered last year and that was $200 including the service charges. Being that this one is now the lowest, I don't even want to think about how much the others are going to be.

Alright I finally got mine! Thanks. Now all I have to do is see the Borgata show put up and I'll be all set for tomorrow.

I'm really not interested in buying into the "fan club". There's nothing really "fan" about it.
I hope that I can get decent tickets to the PNC show without it.

to me it has never been worth it for the presales, just the $30 voucher to the store. any times ive used the presale i never was happy with the tickets that showed up.

its so true there is nothing "fan" about it besides you can pick out a t-shirt for yourself. they offer you nothing, they advertise you will get exclusive news and shit before anyone else but its bullshit, we all know if we want STP news to come here, we know their site is a joke.

So are these presale passwords different for each venue or tour date?

Cause, if they are, and someone wasn't going to use the pass for the Wantagh, NY show.... then .... well, I'm just saying... ;)   You know... just so it doesn't go to waste or anything.

nope if it's the same as the old fan club then you get one pass word and only 4 tickets per tour
If you don't like STP, then you're pretty much not American (from a MO message board)

4 tickets for the whole TOUR?  Wow... that really is "bullsh*t".  So, as an annually paying fan in the fan club, you can only go to 4 shows all year alone, or 2 with a guest?  And they don't even offer pre-sales on some shows!  That's pretty bad...  although, I kinda wish shitty ticketmaster would take note, and be just as stingy & strict.

I signed up in 2008 and I never got the t-shirt I was promised.  I don't remember getting that great of seats to the show either.  I've read it's not really worth the money.
04/12/11: Kings of Leon w/Band of Horses
05/18/11: Avenged Sevenfold
08/16/11: STP @ Austin City Limits Live
03/7/12: Radiohead

VIP Packages
« Reply #42 on: June 09, 2010, 03:13:23 AM »
Hey all,
I was just wondering what the VIP packages include, and if they're only available to the fan club in presale or if the general public has access to them on the onsale date. Also, how much do they typically run? I'm making the trip from Ottawa to see them in Toronto and am trying to get this figured out before the presale tomorrow morning.

Cheers,
Ryan

alright...I really did NOT want to pay the $45 to join the fanclub (I find having to pay to be a fan when they get so much of my money already to be a bit insulting) BUT I decided to mosey on over to ticketmaster to see what the monetary damage would be if I chose best available tickets with one fanclub membership added to the price, and I got decent seats!  So I caved in and bought them - Orchestra C Row N - which I'm hoping means the 14th row and not the 14th row behind rows AA, BB, CC, etc...But it probably does.  In any case, these are actually the best seats I've ever gotten for a Jones Beach show - I have never gotten Orchestra Sections A-C seats before.  I think the best I've ever gotten previously was like the last row of section H all the way off to the side.  And that was for an NIN show, not my beloved STP!
The girl got reasons...they all got reasons.
