Bagman is terrific!

Agreed... The bridge and solo are great! .... It just fits so perfectly on the album

Fast as I can, just doesnt do it for me.  It sounds generic and they were like alright we need at least one more song.  The rest I think are really good and tight.  Bagman maybe may be a bit of filler too

STP doesn't write filler. Even these days.

I think that any song that doesn't have a bridge or a weak bridge just sounds half-assed. Bagman gets attacked a lot, but it is a complete song. So, 'Hazy Daze,' 'Peacoat,' and 'FKOM' are filler songs even though I like them.

Come on! FKOM is pure magic!

Yeah, honestly, FKOM is by far my favorite song on the album.
Picked a song, sang a yellow nectarine.

The only song I can't get into is Peacoat. Other than that they are all great. I agree about the flow of this album, that's one of the reasons that this and Shangri La are so good. A big reason that Purple is not my favorite album is because I don't think it flows very good.

Well...

For me songs 1-2 and 10-12 are as good as the best 90s STP tracks (I'm a HUGE fan). So that leaves me with 7 filler songs:

Huckleberry Crumble, Hickory Dichotomy, Dare If You Dare, Cinnamon, Hazy Daze, Bagman, Peacoat.

But all in all, that's fine with me. They did better with this new album than I would've have expected. And the album has already stood the test of time (with those 5 songs). Proud and loud comeback.

Can't wait for more!!!!!!!!!!!

For me, the only filler is FKOM which is unworthy of being an STP track imo.

Man, this statement makes me cry... FKOM is by far one of my favorite STP songs in general.

As for FILLER, I can't say that any STP song is filler. From front to back, every album, and every song, stands on it's own.

I can tell you my least favorite tracks on the album, but saying they are filler is disrespectful. STP puts A LOT of work and care into what they write. You can tell.

My least favorites:

Fast As I Can
Bagman
Huckleberry Crumble

But honestly, solid album. Seriously, they still got it.

I love FKOM! It's my favorite off of S/T along with Maver. I think those 2 songs are horrifically underrated. To me, Dare If You Dare is the song I skip 90% of the time and may be my least favorite STP tune.

The entire album is filler.  At least I no longer have my least favorite songs on any of the previous 5 releases.

I must say this album, although I don't normally yearn to listen to it, that when I do, I really really enjoy it!  Not sure if it completely feels like an STP album yet but it is heading that way.  It's growing on me a lot

Man... DIYD is probably my favorite track off the album next to Maver. What is it about the song that you dislike if you don't mind me asking
