It seems like I'm gonna be forced to pick JB over Mohegan. Any suggestions on how to get decent tix. Is it worth joining the fan club or is that a waste of $50?

I'm trying to figure that out myself. I was a member of the fan club in 09 and need to renew. Does anyone know about renewing? Are you eligible for a renewal when you log-on to STP.com and it says "upgrade." I just want to make sure before I purchase it. Also, when I go to purchase the fan club, it is listen as fanclub09

Assuming your not purchasing the VIP tix, you'll be buying them during the public onsale? I also felt the pre-sale was a bit of a gimmick

it's not.
It's competely open and depending on how the wind blows determines the sound. and if it's low tide you get the most god awful stench from Zaks bay.
Lucky for me I have never had "weather" issues at any of the shows I've seen there but outside of intense lightening the show goes on....so if it's just raining...you sit in the rain...

The only positive thing about JB is I live so close to it.  ;D
