unbelievably awesome.... i've never experienced a concert in that type of venue before.... my friend and i commented about being at a rock show with carpet on the ground.... strange....

TAB the band was surprisingly good... they played 2 songs in a row that definitely got me grooving.... cage, as expected, was really awesome also... i've seen them before so i knew they would be....

there was a 50-something year old woman next to me during the first 2 acts, and she was the only other person besides me and my friend that i saw dancing and grooving to the music.... i told her i was glad i wasn't the only one... the crowd definitely seemed like they were given shots of valium before the show... just dead and lifeless... what the hell?

i think i was right behind the guy that said he threw his hat to dean... very cool...

right before huckleberry, scott said they were gonna play a new song... i figured it'd be huckleberry, and there was a split second where everything was really quiet, and i screamed out, "huckleberry crumble" and scott looked in the crowd, then back at robert and laughed... not sure if it was because i screamed really loud the song they were about to play or not....

it was my 16th time seeing them and one of the very best.... i told many people next to me that they were part of the most enjoyable thing that i can experience in life... seriously... nothing is better than a STP concert....

can't wait til next month when i catch them again.....

everything rocked! can't pinpoint what song was best, they all were.... seeing their kids come out and take a bow with them was nice... scott and the crew genuinely were happy and in good spirits.... very nice moment....

have fun, have fun, have a whole lot of fun!

This was definitely the best show I've been to, overall, any artist.  We managed to get quite close to the stage on Rob's side.  The band was tight musically and joking around with each other which was awesome.  At one point, Dean asked Scott if he could see his panty lines in these pants and Scott just looked at him and cracked up.  Then Rob got it on it and they joked for a couple of minutes, awesome.
The only thing that sucked was the crowd was pretty lousy.  There were a lot of people singing along really into the show, but just as many who it seemed were there to heckle and wait for Scott to screw up.  Saw at least three people get thrown out also.

Aside from the Hammerstein, NY show back in 2001 when I got pulled up on stage, this was by far my favorite set of all time.

The crowd overall was a tad mellow, but I was jacked up so it didn't really phase me much.  Me and my friend hung at the Tequilla bar until around the time Cage the Elephant came on.  What a crazy band, such a raw almost old school punk sound (when compared to their album which kinda sounds like a Black Crowes vibe).

Either way, we rolled up and were basically 5 or 6 folks deep.  Such a surprise to hear Heaven & HotRods, & Still Remains was so great.  Dancing Days was a nice treat too.  However, I agree with what someone said about Pretty Penny kinda slowing things down a   It, just didn't feel right, and then Silvergun making its way back in.  I friggin love that song haha.  Cinnamon was so reassuring live, felt like a completely different song.

My only true gripe, which is one I feel will be repeated time and time again, is just the complete lack of love for SLDD.  ZERO songs from that albumn.  I know I'm part of the minority who list this ablum as their favorite, but I figured atleast 1 song would make its way to the set.  That in mind, only 2 from No. 4 and just 1 from Tiny Music.

It's awesome that the band is opting out of Sour Girl & Creep, to get the deeper cuts from Core & Purple, but as it was mentioned, maybe just cut out 1 or 2 of the 3 jams you had and you could totally fit 2 (maybe 3) extra songs in the set, and that's where you can tip your caps to SLDD.  Although on their perspective it did seem they really got a kick out of the couple of jams.

It's just that after seeing the Jones Beach show also with the same set and then I heard PNC had the exact same set as well, it just frustrates me when I hear that bands like Pearl Jam & Dave Matthews Band go out with like 200+ songs prepared for each tour and just continuously rotate them.
Hold me closer.....closer.....let me go!

My STP Concertology:  6/22/01, 10/26/01, 4/21/02, 4/23/02, 5/18/08, 5/26/08, 5/31/08, 8/6/08, 8/8/08, 8/10/08, 7/17/09, 5/18/10, 9/3/10, 9/4/10, 7/25/11, 7/26/11, 9/10/11, 9/1/12, 5/6/18
