Okay, I need to bitch about this:

I haven't seen STP since 2002, and I would really love to see them at this show, but this is the WORST possible date they could've chosen to play this show. First of all, Boston is a college town. There are more colleges within its city limits than any other place in the US. In fact, it's why I'm here (Berklee). All of the leases up here go from 9/1 through 8/31, which means ALL of the college students in the fucking city are moving in/out/around on 9/1, including myself and my wife. Sure, we could PLAN to have our move done in time to make our way the concert, but realistically, shit always goes wrong. I would hate to fork out $100+ only to not be able to go. Seriously, 9/1 in Boston? What the fuck were they thinking?

BTW, I had tickets to see them in '08 in my hometown (Orlando), but as many of you know, it got cancelled due to "inclement weather," which was fucking bullshit.

Why not buy the tickets well ahead of time?

that really blows man  :(  i mean i guess the best thing to do is get the tickets and if you cant go try to sell them off but i know that's a risky thing to do and is a pain in the ass especially when your trying to move.

I am psyched about this! I haven't seen the group since the Rolling Rock Town Fair 2.0 in 2001. I went insane and I anticipate being even more so this time, since I never thought they'd get back together. Psyched with a capital P.

Oh, I didn't realize prices would be available on TicketBastard's site already. Shows how much I know. Now I'm concerned, though. I got the STP newsletter and it said the general admission tix go on sale on the 12th, but the 'Bastard's web site says the 11th.
