mine wasn't messed up...but after watching the making of the video, i was surprised they didnt include the actual video there. weird.

Yeah, I was a little disappointed by that.  At least it came with the iTunes version.

How did they ever get away with the use of that logo anyway?

That's been my question for ever. "STP" as a trade mark still exists, right?

Yup, they still make motor oil. And various other lubricating liquids.

bit disappointed with the DVD, they should have included the BTL video among other things.

Ja, each Target I went to, the sales people were all like "huh?" Sorted through each one (time consuming!)...which also makes me think...there sure were a lot of copies on the shelf. Hope that's not an omen...

I had to hunt people who worked at Target down just to see if they had the cd in at 4 in the afternoon the day it came out.

I was not impressed with the way the were running things....

this is what I'm curious about. Is it a must have, or can I live without it? I already bought the album through STP's site, hoping the band would actually get more $$ out of it (as opposed to iTunes/Target taking a cut off the top) so I don't really want to throw money away by buying another cd. I will, though, if the target dvd special is something you guys think I can't live without. HELP US PLEASE!

You can definitely live without it.  I believe the behind the scenes footage from the BTL video was already shown on a website (spin perhaps?) and the live performances are from the Chicago 03.27.2010 show which is also on the internet.  The two interviews (one is short, about five minutes or so) are okay but nothing special.

I'd say so, if you're a completist. When I went to Target, both versions were on sale. The Deluxe was the same amount as the standard version's regular price.

Dammit! I bought my CD at Target and they didn't have any bonus DVD... I wanted to make sure I snagged a copy immediately so it could be included in soundscan or whatever for the week... Gave it to a friend (I also subscribe to Rhapsody) and guess I'll buy one off the website...
