Army of anyone was sweet. however IMO the deleos MADE the band. ray is a great drummer no doubt. and richard patrick is a nice guy (met him) and is great for filter. and i was let down when AOA became defunct. At the time i was pretty convinced that STP was no more. and i was just glad to see dean and robert back showcasing their talents on the stage again. but now that STP is back i don't miss AOA so much.

Richard Patrick actually said in an interview recently that he would re-band with Rob & Dean, and Ray Luzier if the time was right.  And I take what Rob said recently in an interview to the Ottawa press or something, he said "whatever we(stp) do in-between albums is our choice and the freedom we deserve" maybe meaning that AoA will record another album in the future??  They never actually said that they quit AoA so that leaves the big question...

one thing is for sure the deleos are highly underrated as musicians and a don't get the respect they deserve when they aren't w/ STP. i feel that they are just as talented as scott just in a different, sometimes, less respected way. i was sad that AoA didn't do better commerically.

IMO AoA was just as good as SLDD. It was different of course, but I think on the same level.
