The cassette format was still very popular in the early 90s, so really no surprise

Was thinking of getting one of each, but CORE is selling for over $100 (new) -  Id like to get them all in original shrink rap and keep them as collectables

Sorry to bump this old thread but it made me chuckle. My Core tape melted around 1994-1995 but I found at least two I still have.

Did I have Tiny Music? Shit, I don't remember.

Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

I have Purple on cassette.  I remember buying it at Sam Goodie music store in 1997 lol.  I just listened to Silvergun Superman and Big Empty for about a year lol  Then I finally listened to the rest, and it was really good too.

Cassette's are more of a collectors thing than an audiophile thing. Records have a crisper, more natural sound while CD's have greater general fidelity and low noise.  I've still got a lot of cassettes ranging from when I was a kid through early high school when I really abandoned them for CD's.
