This song is just ok for me.

Again the music > Scott's lyrics and vocals  for the entire album
"This song is called lounge fly, and there\'s a lounge, and there\'s a fly in it"

Scott - 8/15/08

My interpretation of the lyrics:

I'm freely standing
On my own
Or am I falling
In a river cold?
Those friends always ask me
Saying "How you been?"
Well I've seen somber days

Am I mistaken?
Could you be sitting there lonely too?

He was a man
Who didn't want me anymore
He never
Never
Never 'round
How much did you get for selling out my name?
Still won't forget those hazy days
Yeah

It's in the nighttime
When I'm feeling old
Am I lonely?
I watched you go
My friends always wonder
Ask "How you been?"
Well I've seen better days

Am I mistaken?
Am I mistaken?
Could you be sitting there lonely too?

He was a man
Who didn't want me anymore
He never
Never
Never 'round
How much did you get for selling out my name?
Still won't forget those hazy days
Yeah

He was a man
Who didn't want me anymore
He never
Never
Never 'round
How much did you get for selling out my name?
Still won't forget those hazy days
Yeah
I'm looking for a new meditation, still looking for a new way to fly. Don't want any plastic validation, not looking for a new way to die.

Wow, one of the best, if not the best track on this album.  Wish they would have chosen this one to play live - it would sound amazing!  Absolutely love the Zeppelin influence.

Look I just want to go out sometime you know.  Like normal people, spend time together and enjoy each other's company. Like best friends.  Like lovers that care.  Who actually respect the relationship you know?"

After finding out what this song's about I love it even more.

I also love how it has a Core/MJY vibe.

This is another amazing song!

The first couple riffs reminded me of Silvergun Superman, but it changed right away into almost a 70's vibe.

Am I the only one who can hear a saxophone vibe kinda from the way the guitars mesh? Like when I hear this riff, I can almost picture a saxophone playing every last note of it.

Still love it, but now that I thought of that, I cant Un-Think it! :)

currently my favorite on the album. Pretty heavy stuff about Scott's dad. The theme is dark, but I'm into it. I don't like the intro that much and think the riff is so-so, but after that part the song gets stronger and stronger. Great chorus too.

YES YES YES......this song has a real grungey riff kinda reminds me of an audioslave song and has grown on me the most out of all the songs. My second pick would be Huckleberry.
The biggest complaint I am hearing everywhere is that this first single is to soft and doesnt kickass. I'm just speaking about mainstream society doesn't want some ballad with a sad or deep story. We need clean non metal kick ass rock that makes your body move.
  Just my 1cent,
hawk.
