This, along with "Peacoat" and "Cinnamon", are my favorites off the new album. I really hope that this one's put out as a single, but it might be wishful thinking. You never know, though, the record's very radio-friendly.

Wow this song is really catching on to me. The lyrics in the really caught my attention- swine flu to world hunger to religion to his brother. IMO this is the most Beatle-esq song- the piano and Scott's quick deliveries in everything other than the chorus both add to that. He got quite political here: is this a first for him?

i quote my post from "Take A Load Off next single" threat

i like the choice....it's a good song to 2nd single....another option might be "Dare If You Dare" (DIYD sounds like All The Young Dudes in chorus -_- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=amnjZtNDKqk)

DIYD reminds me a bit to "St. Pepper Lonely Heart" too.....and "Helter Skelter" O.o (a little....slightly)

Just wanted to point out how amazing are the layers of vocals in the chorus.

Also, booklet says "What to do about third world nutrition" He doesn't sing "third", does he?

Good it's not just me hearing "the world nutrition" ;)

Agree Sin. These lyrics must be the best in this album.

Musically, I think it's kind of bland. Nothing really stands out. Vocally, I like it alot. Very John Lennon-ish as multiple people have mentioned. I still believe that this song would be SO MONEY if had some piano involved. It just doesn't seem complete.

There's electric piano/rhodes during the verses.

I hear it now after multiple listens. However, I was thinking about traditional piano keys. The electric adds some ambiance, but I think the track could use a piano jam.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

It does have a wonderful, John Lennon/Mott The Hoople vibe. Brilliant song and great production work.

One of my favorite songs on the album. Very much diggin' the Beatlesque vibe!!!

I've always adored how STP isn't afraid to show their influences!

They've played Dare if you Dare live? I must have missed that. When was that? I wonder how it turned out.

This may be the only performance of the song that has surfaced.  I actually think it sounded good, but of course they dropped it from the set after a few shows.

Wish we got this live alot more. Great song to crank loud when driving or doing whatever.

I love how they dont cloak their influences. They never mimick but seem to master the art showing their roots combined with uncanny STP hooks and melodies.
