I just think Scott could be a little more creative than "yeaaaaaah, come on come on now, yeaaaaaah" over and over. I will admit that the song has grown on me a little. It's still my least favorite, but I can usually tolerate it all the way through now. I just wish Scott would have done something a little more creative lyrically, especially in the chorus.

For the longest time, I thought the chorus was the "we both talk about love, we both know about love" part and the "yeah, come on, come on" part was just something to go with the main riff of the song. It might help if you view it that way; it sure helped me.

Not trying to get anyone to like the song (i personally love it)...but, i tend to think that the song was not intended to be taken very serious. I think the band was paying homage to an era of songs that were purely bubblegum (early Beatles sound). I can't quite put my finger on the reason i adore it...i just do.

I love it; one of my favorites on the new one.  I think the simplicity of it and the sugary style is tribute to Beatles-ish pop.  Lennon/McCartney wrote amazing lyrics, but they had a few 'yeah yeah yeahs' hear and there .  It also shows STP have a large range of styles that they're capable of; Down next to Cinnamon, that'd be one crazy concert set list.

                I simply love the fact that it's a super poppy rock song. It makes you feel all happy. lol Can't wait for the video to come out and then it will be played all over radio. I also hope all the easy listening and light rock stations play it too then people will be like "Who is this? Stp? No way! I like it!" Then buy the album. The song also stays in your head so I would think the single will be a huge success!

Was cranking the album today and noticed that Cinnamon doesnt fade out smoothly, it has to be loud to tell, but I was surprised to hear that.

Well I'm watching the Yankees/Blue Jays game right now and they're been playing cinnamon at the ballpark oddly enough. Cool place to hear it lol, hopefully the single release goes well!

Its a nice sunshiney 60s style pop song. Think back to Art School Girl and Days of the Week.. Its gonna be the most psych sounding single since Days.. I love it. One of the highlights of the new record.
