This does not sound like STP at all! But I still loved the song.

I can see how there will be many haters. I'm a sucker for bad rock love songs.

Scott's vocals sound really great on this song.

Musically this song is brilliant, but you have to love and understand what good pop music is before you can appreciate it.

This song is weak, reminds me of "Blind Confusion" off of Happy in Galoshes. Not that it is a terrible song, but I expect more out of STP... Completely let me down, I was expecting the next "Sour Girl"...

This makes me a sad panda. "Blind Confusion" is one of my favorite songs off of "Happy in Galoshes."

I just listened to Sex Type Thing and Cinnamon back to back. It's crazy to realize that it's the same band.

But this is why STP is my favorite band and will always be.

Yep.  I never burn out on STP because all of their albums sound so different.  If I burn out on Core, I can listen to something totally different like SLDD.

I have heard the tune twice and I'm actually in love with it.

It just has your foot tappin' and puts you in a great mood.

That is what music is all about....forget all the other shit.

EXACTLY! This is not a rock song, but STP has done this before. And i mean hell this song spells tiny music all over it and i couldn't be happier!

The intro reminds me of "The Boy" by James Iha which is fun :)

In real life, I HATE cinnamon.  Everything about it. Smell, taste, barklike appearance.

On the new STP disc, though... This might just be my new favorite song ever. I love it.

I'm surprised at the mixed reviews of this one. I think its fucking fantastic.
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!

I don't see this as a successful single at all.  I think the general rock audience will be too distracted by it being such a departure for STP.

Having said that... I LOVE THIS SONG.

Well I think  the same thing could have been said for Sour Girl when it was released.

SO true.  I rememeber the first couple of times I heard four thinking SOUR GIRL was the worst tune on the album.
"There's a dusty rose where the promise of love used to be"
