I've got no Dish/Cable... I'm dying to see this concert :(

Big thanks for the H.S. interview and the Letterman footage.

Damn you guys.......you all have recordings and can you put in a little BE love and get these uploaded.   Find the model number pvr you have and google how to extract the video.  I've done it for years even with dishnet 921 encrypted models.   The hardest one I had to do was take the cover off and hook the hard drive from the pvr up to my computer and boot my computer and fire up this program called dishrip . It automatically finds the pvr dvr hard drive and shows you all the shows on it recorded and you can select which ones to extract to the hard drive.  You can also pick curtain formats such as mpeg2,avi and wmvhd .
  Get on it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hawk.

Even if I take my cover off my DVR and hook up the DVR hard drive, it still sounds like I need a Linux PC to extract the files- and even that process does not sound like it's gauranteed to work.  Trust me, I really would love to upload this and have the ability to burn a copy, because I won't have this satellite box forever.

If you come across a sure fire way to get files off a Dish Network VIP622, I'm happy to give it a try.

EDIT:  The only option I can think of at the moment is to use my HD camcorder to record the footage off of my HDTV screen, and I doubt anyone will find that quality very acceptable.  However, I'd consider doing that if no one else is able to upload.

Hawk.

I have a Pace HD-DVR Recorder This was on the front of the box: TDC778X

Provider: Armstrong Cable

Hey Silvergun....check it :
http://www.ehow.com/how_5951207_export- ... e-dvr.html

Also if any of you guys that have the recording in your pvr/dvr all you have to is hook it to a video card that has capturing capabilities or a capture card on your computer just like you hook it to your tv. It will be analogue but still it will give us our fix for now until we get a pure HD or digital format.

finished the edits.... no point in throwing the show up on DIME... they'll pull it b/c the audio for 3 of the songs are available on the "Deluxe Version" of STP (2010)...

and stop with the "bragging" bullshit... i don't owe anyone anything.

but yeah... i've already converted it & will upload it later this week...

Hawk, I know how you feel buddy, and I too cannot wait for footage of this show to surface, I'm checking youtube and here every 10 minutes! Just thank your lucky stars you don't live in New Zealand like me - where the f@ck is New Zealand I hear you ask? ... exactly!

Hopefully something will surface soonish, at this point it doesn't matter what the quality is like :)

Great performance by the band, even if it was doctored a bit.  Although Scott's eyes seemed totally 'glazed' over, so he definitely had a few drinks before this show.
