Definately could see Fast as I can as one of the singles. Everytime I turn the channel to ESPN that song is playing in the background. Plus it's probably the most "mainstream rock" track on the album outside of Between the Lines. That being said I doubt it's the next single.

My guess is Cinnamon is next because it's definately made for radio and it's a good change up to BTL. After that I think we will see Fast as I can and Huckleberry or Hickory.

Take A Load Off would be a good choice cause it sounds the most like old STP than anything else. In My opinion.

yeah, I'm diggin Take a Load Off

i'm totally on board w/ the take a load off ppl.

I hope they're bold enough to throw Hickory on the radio. I'd bet on either Fast As I Can or Cinnamon though.

If it's Hickory, the album will die on the vine. Period. Only Bagman would be worse. Those two songs should be dropped from the live setlist -- just like S&V was during the No. 4 tour.

I like the idea of going Cinnamon or Dare If You Dare, then finishing up with Huckleberry Crumble or Take A Load Off.

I've only let myself listen to the record 2 times (2 more than I should have before the release), but I'm hoping like hell it's Hickory.

My vote would be for "Take a Load Off" ... but to appeal to the VH1 crowd, I might go with something like "Dare If You Dare" or "First Kiss on Mars" ...

usually you can take a hint from the sticker on the album where it says featuring between the lines and hickory dichotomy.. it also says maver and cinnamon too so maybe there will be 4 singles?

All of my money is on Hickory Dichotomy.

The sticker, the live offering on the deluxe version...

I think you're also going to have Cinnamon (which will disappoint so many)

Bold yes.  Bad choice?  Who knows.  I think it's a great hook, and an odd enough title to draw attention.  I did not like it initially, then it grew on me quickly.

Who picks the single, by the way?

More I think about it, Take a Load Off might not be a poor choice.  I think it would be a mediocre performer in the charts however.  Certainly not a #1 Rock Chart record.

'BTL' was a VERY wise choice for lead-off single...but, i say 'Cinnamon' should be the next wise choice. 'BTL' showed the boys can still spit out a glam inspired, kick-ass jam with attitude. 'Cinnamon' would show the masses the artistic side of STP and it is flavored with such a mighty vibe of summer. With summer knocking on our door right now, the timing of such a wonderful song would be perfect.

The band has talked in the past about how they always pick the singles, with the exception of Days of the Week, which allegedly management picked.
