It's tough to say right now since we haven't even heard all of the songs yet. I'm not sure that Hickory Dichotomy would do well on the radio even though I personally love it. I'm hoping that the best song are the ones we have yet to hear.

I disagree. I think that 'Hickory Dichotomy' would be a FANTASTIC choice as the next single and would do well. Yes...maybe the best is yet to come...but, for now, this song has gotten constant play from me today!

I feel like it's going to be great too and I agree it should definitely be the next single, thought that it would be after seeing the youtube videos of it live. Someone said in another thread that some radio station played a 30 second clip of it already...that seems like a big hint to me

It could be a hit if given a chance.  I think this is a song that wont grab people as quick as BTL

Mainstream society are into catchy rock beats and licks....so I'd have to say. Huckleberry Crumble....for sure.....unless  some of the unheard suprises no one has heard yet.

I really dont think Huckleberry would be the one to choose from. I bet the album has a few others that might be a better choice. I feel like people who hear the vocals in the verses would be turned off to the song because of something stupid like "it sounds weird" or "you cant sing along to it". Theres a lot of people that dont have an ear or an eye for things that are different when it comes to music, they wanna hear the same shit played by different bands.

Hickory Dichotomy has a really catchy chorus. At first, I didn't like the song but with more listens, I was hooked. I think the same could be said about the mainstream (lemmings) audience.

I think Hickory Dichotomy could be a huge hit. It's already one of my favorite STP songs. It's different from anything they've done before, and it's different than anything on the radio, but it's one of those songs that you bob your head to.

Take A Load Off would be a good choice cause it sounds the most like old STP than anything else. In My opinion.

EDIT: I'm not saying that I'm one of those Core humpers...I just think that this song would get more people interested who remember STP from the early 90's.
