But they have Peter Frampton listed for the 25th on my TV guide for Kimmel.

Maybe Frampton performs on the airing of the show on the 25th. I remember earlier in the month, Tim McGraw was listed as performing on the 25th. Slightly disappointed, I would have liked to make the 6 hour drive down to see them, I missed out the last time they performed on the show.

It still says "Hollywood, Ca. 5/25" on the tour information of this website.
And when you click on it, it still says "Jimmy Kimmel Live".

I was WONDERING why they didn't mention it (5/25) on Howard Stern the other day...Jimmy was in Howard's studio at the same time as STP and even did some of the interviewing.

Yes, this IS confusing.

i was talking to the camera guy and he said it should be airing on monday or teusday, so im pretty sure it will be teusday

It was never officially stated that STP would performing in Kimmel's studio, or that they would perform on the day the show airs. It was mearly stated that they will be on featured on the 25th.

Jimmy Kimmel has a sponsored concert series, which means sometimes they will record the band at a concert and then play that footage on the show. Just because they are featured on next Tuesday's episode doesn't mean they are actually performing next Tuesday.

Since the NYC show was looking to be the STP show of the decade, they must have decided to record the performance there and put it on the show the next week when STP is scheduled to appear.

In summary. STP will be featured on Kimmel on the 25th. They will play the footage of the band's performance from this past show in New York as the footage of the band.

if you look at everyone's pictures from Tuesday night the "Jimmy Kimmel" logo is prominately displayed on the sides of the stage (so was the AT&T logo so expect a online AT&T concert at some point  ;) )

That's the STP Kimmel show performance, they will just air it during the TV show.

Just checked my DVR, and it does indeed say "Peter Frampton Performs." Maybe they rescheduled?

I can't find any confirmation about an STP performance on JKL website or 1iota.com (where you get free ticks for JKL). The schedule posted Peter Frampton playing the concert on 5/25 as of last week but I got tickets anyway hoping that JKL is going to be making a change.

Does anyone know anything different from what I know?
