he was slithering around.. shimmying like the old days..

anytime anyone says something like this i really wonder if they realize just how ridiculous weiland was on stage years ago. to make a statement like this is almost like insulting him when he was in his prime.
Just because you don't like doesn't mean the rest of us don't... Lighten up, it was supposed to be a good comment!

To me it sounds like "this song is to Spin"
I agree, thats probably what it is...

The bassline is louder here than I have ever heard it.. Sounds GREAT!

Vasoline performance sounds great too... he looks so energized dancing all around.. i wish I had been there!

The performance sounded pretty good on my surround sound system today, but I could deffinitely see they didn't mix it that well in post. The vox and the guitar were really muted.

I don't know if anyone mentioned this, but Dean and Rob were using new guitars. Dean was using a Tele with a Humbucker as opposed to classic 'burst tele, and Rob was using a sunburst Schecter J-bass that I've never seen before.
Grab the hate and drown it out...

To me it sounds like "This one's for Spin" but I could very easily be wrong

exactly what I thought he was saying, as I was watching it...

Definitely "This song's for Spin" - the song is about the media, after all.

Hmm ... but why for SPIN
because apparently Scott felt the Spin cover story was either blown out of proportion or (of course) once again one persons preception of the actual truth...

To be honest, when you give a interview and you thought it went well...then you read what they printed, it can be a completely different tone and angle than ACTUALLY went down. It's happened to me.
It's a Hickory Dichotomy  ;)

They're just mad because it wasn't the Miley Cyrus stuff they're used to listening to.

Let 'em whine.  :D

Can anyone decipher what Scott's saying in the intro of Hickory Dichotomy?

He's going:

Alright, Alright, This song's ........ ........
Alright, Alright, This song's ........ ........

Alright, Alright, This song's roast beef.

Seriously, I have no idea.  I'm sure thats not it, just what it sounded like on first listen last night (albeit with a few drinks in me)

I wouldn't bother. Most of the people that post there are half-wits and have the maturity of a toddler. That's the downside of the internet these days. Even the uneducated have figured out how to use it, and have seriously dumbed down the intelligence of society as a whole.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

On the webcast of the entire New York show, there's a really good shot of one of a BE member, I think it's toysintheatttic errrrrr something. She's holding a banner that looks like it's homemade. I recognized her by her hair. I think it's right at the end of Bagman. I'm pretty sure it's her anyways.

Damn I wish I had like an extra week of notice before they played. I would have driven to LA for it. 5 songs, but whatever.

yep that was me! im pretty hard to miss with all the pink  ;) but yeah i spent so much time working on that banner im so pumped it got in all those shots  ;D
