I thought the performance was pretty good on the whole too.  Scott came in slightly off key on the first line or two, and then was on after that.  Pretty good performance all around, I'd say.
As soon as he started singing I went aww shit, I was nervous watching.. i wish i would have dvr'ed it so i can watch it again and I am a HUGE scott advocate but I didn't think this was a good vocal performance at all =(
And he missed really like to (fish)

Just had some really bad feedback come across my TV...was it on everyone's broadcast?

Yes but who cares it was still good to see them!  ;)

Wasn't a complaint, just merely brought it up!  8)

i agree i think scott was especially off in the beginning, but even throughtout the performance was in an out. i noticed a little of that old growl he used to have at the end of the first verse. good performance but could have been better

my thoughts exactly. and yeah i noticed the "tits" thing too haha. i felt like that stage wasnt big enough for them u could tell scott especially wanted to be able to move around more imo

weilandfan (mel2) and I both think maybe we are sleep deprived and drank too much pineapple vodka, but we thought they sounded good, looked good, didn't stutter, and if he died his hair blonde he just might look like STT!!!

Hell with the nitpicking.  They did fine.  Was it perfect?  No...but who cares.  They aren't robots.  Scott looks healthy, the band seems happy, and it's rock 'n roll.  Just seems some have started to dissect every move so much that they have forgotten how to just enjoy the band.  Most of the little things being harped upon (fish/tits, Eric deadening a snare) wouldn't have been noticed by anyone other than the diehards, so let's all just chill a little.

Yeah, what weilandfan said, suck a dick, haters!  (hey, it must be the cabin pressure flying from Vegas to NJ)  :P  We watched it together on my 55" LED TV, with surround sound and it was pretty damn good.

Scott looks healthy, that's all we can ask for.

For the haters....

I agree!  I'm a big STP fan, and I'm not going to meticulously pick their stuff apart.  Let's face it, small glitches happen and this isn't the first band to run into live performance issues.

Just relax, enjoy the music. 8)

Hey, here's the video from tonight's performance http://http://theaudioperv.com/2010/05/20/stone-temple-pilots-between-the-lines-519-letterman/
Thank you.
I'm actually surprised how good it was. I was afraid to watch it after reading all of the negative opinions, but it turned out to be very good.
But the sound was a total mess  :-

Good performance. Glad Scott's not getting wasted before performances this month.
