I give it a B+. Vocals were a little bit off-tune, but pretty good overall - it's not an easy song to match live to the recorded version. The musicianship was excellent. And they looked good.

I heard him say something that wasnt fish but i didnt hear tits.   we need to get a video of this up here sometime.

You can tell when Weiland hasn't been drinking before a performance...he was energetic and moving around...but unlike earlier years, he wasn't wired like he did a line (or 50). The man straight up OWNED the stage!

As I said earlier in the thread, they already had clips of Brand and the Lost Top Ten on the CBS Letterman site 90 minutes before the show aired, so the STP clip must be going up soon.

I dont think Scott seemed pissed afterwards, but if he was it was probably because of the feedback.  Thats something that should be figured out during soundcheck and/or by the techs.

Dean's guitar sounded like shit, IMO.  Either it was the mix (possible), or his pedal or tone selection was just bad.  Maybe it was just my TV (wife was on the good TV/stereo).  I'll have to check out a mpeg when someone gets one and play it through better speakers.

I thought the performance was pretty good on the whole too.  Scott came in slightly off key on the first line or two, and then was on after that.  Pretty good performance all around, I'd say.

Yeah, he kinda of says "Really like to Tits". Probably explains why he looks pissed after the performance.  Scott is a bit of a perfectionist and he knew this was an important performance.  Still did great in my opinion.
