Great article. Sounds like Atlantic really wants this album to do well.

The next year is going to be an awesome time to be a STP fan. Even better than it's been since 2008.

Am I the only that thinks that Scott voicing his desire to cut ties with Atlantic back in 2008 (and the success on the road) might have actually spurred the record company into realizing that they have a great band & hence the promotion?

This is how an album gets promoted. Much better than SLDD, AOA, or Libertad

Nice article! Glad to hear this one's being promoted properly. Too much good music from these guys has flown under the radar due to subpar promotion. Put it on stupid vampire shows. Put it on The View for all I care. Just get it out there.

I think that they are kissing the bands ass to keep them on the label. Times are tough and the record companies need to hold onto great bands like STP to stay afloat. The internet has really given the companies a smack in the face. It's about time that STP is given more care. Hope it lasts.

A few TV appearances will help the band's popularity a good deal. A live broadcast all over America will bring out the newbies who are like, "who are these guys?!" and the oldies who will think back to when they heard them in the 90s.

I'm so excited at the chart jumpin' of Between the Lines. More people at the college age need to catch on and stop singing to Lil Wayne and Justin Bieber in the shower lol..scary.

Great article.
I'm loving the news of the deluxe edition being in stores (and Target exclusive packaged DVD).

Where would one get the vinyl edition of the self-titled? Do they sell that kinda stuff @ Target/Best Buy?

The only place I've seen it mentioned so far is the website. They may have it at Target, they were selling the vinyl edition of Pearl Jam's Backspacer there.
