I love reading about all this optimism with the new record, but I think we need to realize how pathetic the majority of these radio/music listeners are. If you search online, a few radio stations have these March Madness Music Bracket Challenges (in reference to the big NCAA mens basketball tournament) where fans pick the winners of one on one match ups (band versus band). Just look at who these supposed "fans" are picking. It's just sad what people think is good music.

Stone Temple Pilots lost to Limp Bizkit in Chicago's Q101 March Madness thing...In the first round too.

STP lost to Queen in some March Madness I saw yesterday, but it was 49% against 51%

I believe the Hole song has been on the charts for two weeks and this is the debut week for BTL.

That Hole song sounds like something off of Nirvana INCESTICIDE album, the music at least.

What day of the week do the charts get updated? I went to billboard.com but I can only find the top 25 in each chart. Does anybody have a link that shows STP's Between the Lines position?

Thanks

yup.  i'm going to call it now:  BTL will hit #1 on the alt/rock chart.  there really isn't any serious competition out there currently.

(BLT is already #9 on www.allaccess.com's alternative chart and #8 on its active rock chart)
