2 weeks ago BTL was #1 on the Alternative Songs chart, last week it was #3.  So it's actually gone back up!

This is encouraging.  I'm not sure if the song dropping down and going back up holds any actual significance, but it feels like it does.  Great news!   O0

I am loving how BTL jumped back up a spot to #2 on the Alternative charts shoving Muse out again. They're latest record is just not that good and is overblown with the persona of some Queen-like masterpiece.

Has anybody noticed though that no one has commented on Between the Lines on these billboard charts? They've commented on and given those stupid songs by Three Days Grace and The Dirty Heads better ratings.

Damn kids and they're recycled post-grunge Three Days Grace. I swear that the song, "The Good Life" is the same bloated dumb hard rock that we've been hearing for like 5-7 years now. How do kids like that shit over and over again? And don't even get me started on The Dirty Heads making all of those Brad Nowell and Sublime fans feel comforted with more bro music.
Alter Bridge: 10/20/07
Live: 3/15/08
STP: 5/18/08, 5/31/08/Scott Weiland: 1/24/09
Metallica: 1/17/09
The Smithereens: 1/14/14/Sugar Ray-Better Than Ezra-Eve 6: 8/21/15

Wow, that's really good to hear!  I hope it's a good single.

Myself, I haven't heard it yet, and I'm trying to avoid it if at all possible.  I'd prefer to hear the record from start-to-finish to begin with.

Oh, it's not so bad.  I actually like some of that 3DG stuff.  Animal I Have Become I thought was fantastic!

But somehow the production is all wrong.  It makes all their songs sound alike.  Oh well.  STP is back!

Am i the only one who thinks that "Between the Lines" sounds very similar to U2's Get on your boots, and Nirvana's "Stay Away"

Listen to verses in "Get on your boots"  sounds like verses in BTL
and the verses in Stay Away sounds exactly like the bridge in BTL

Again i don't mean on knocking on the song, I've been a hardcore STP fan since 1994 and still am a huge supporter.  Just thought i'd share, see if anyone noticed this.

Yes but what most people are forgetting is that "Get On Your Boots" sounds a lot like Elvis Costello's "Pump It Up". And really, in my mind, STP are probably bigger fans of Elvis Costello than they are U2.

I bet BTL will chart in the hot 100 the week after the cd is released.  Album sales factor into the formula for positioning in the hot 100.
