It's been around for 9 years (since 2001) which could be considered a long time to some (despite STP being inactive for much of that time).

Clearly my point was that they had used that logo on only one of six albums, and then they used it again on this upcoming album.  I just think that's lame.  But again, I'm fine with the artwork itself... just not reusing the flower logo, as well as not having the band name on the cover.  But obviously I don't care much about the album cover compared to the music.

I love it! It doesn't remind of anything I've seen, it's not pretentious.I never liked no.4 nor ShangriLa again, matter of taste.

that album artwork is not bad actually. i like it, care free and stylish. it would be cool if that was done up as a NON-LIMITED-EDITION (just a normal-plenty-of-it-in-stock) t-shirt available in all mens and womens sizes.

Maybe the color mix between red and yellow wasn´t the best choice, IMO.

I thought since they neames the record Stone Temple Pilots that they would just have a picture of them or something like that, maybe a picture of them preforming like a bootleg cover  I will get use to it... ;D

Dude, you´re definitely a fresh fan. Welcome! ;D

You don't even know what it is, its a fleuron not a flower...that's fine if you think it is lame. I guess it is still lame for Eric to have the "STP" logo on his bassdrum head cuz hell they have had that since 1992?

Rob DeLeo has a red "hand" in the same pose as this artwork that is on top of his gear onstage during live shows.

I'll have to dig up a pic of one when I get back home.

I think it's pretty cool, and that it will look really good on a vinyl LP and various tour items!

Why are you trying to argue with Cuatro and Rocketboy about who the bigger fan is?

LAME.
How could they not notice it?! Because it's a little mint.  It's a Junior Mint!
