Im suprised that so many people hate it.  Its not the greatest cover Ive seen but I do like it. As long as they didnt put themsleves on the cover Im content.

I was thinking the same thing. When I saw this one I immediately thought that it could have been tweaked a bit and turned into a very nice STP cover.

Ok first reaction was WTF??? lol. Gotta admit that. I'll just have to get used to it. But at the same time I can see it being very STPish. They've done random things before with the Purple, Tiny Music and Shangri-La cover so I think it fits them well. It gives me this late Beatles vibe to it, anyone else? Like I imagine John Lennon giving the peace sign or something in his Srgt Pepper's outfit when I see this new STP album cover lol. Well I already made a print out and put it up on my wall and will make it my computer desktop wallpaper so it will definitely grow on me and make me more excited about the new album!! Yahhhh think I'm starting to dig it now. Give me some time first. lol

Not only did they get one of the most talented artists to do the cover, I think
we'll have a greater appreciation for this once we hear the album.  If anything,
the STP flower is there, and the image itself sends out a universal message.  I love it.

Honestly, for this album cover they could have procured an image of my face smiling with a huge dildo ramming me in the side of the head repeatedly and I think I would have said "Woah, fucking awesome! My point is , I love the shit out of this band and I do like the cover. At this point, I am just shocked they made another album. I still have to pinch myself. The only thing left for me to do is avoid dying before it is released. That is my main focus in life as of today.
