Well... I didn't really like it at first sight, too simple, too plain... But hey! the fleuron is there and I love it, still kinda weak. I do like the colors.

Then I pictured it in my hands and I went crazy, first STP release I "live". Then No4 cover came to my mind and I can match them easily, and it's not that bad. I keep looking at it and digging it a little more every time.

I had second thoughts about the way I worded some things in there. Plus, knowing Shepard Fairey is doing the artwork for this album, I expect things to be better overall. I've seen his exhibit at the ICA in Boston last summer, he is a genius.

I like the colors and the fleuron is cool, but I dunno the peace symbol comes across as kinda cheesy. oh well i'm really not gonna complain cuz its NEW STP!!!

That's Shepard Fairey painting the same image in the photo.  

I think the artwork makes more sense in that context.  Also, I hesitate to say, but in the original context the whole thing has a "Chinese Democracy" feel.

I thought since they neames the record Stone Temple Pilots that they would just have a picture of them or something like that, maybe a picture of them preforming like a bootleg cover  I will get use to it... ;D

I thought the same thing.  It's not terrible, but it could have been better.  It feels less personal now knowing it's not exclusive to the band.

It is probably just a design that really resonates with the band. It doesn't have to be an exclusive piece of art to signify STP and what sentiment they are enamored with. I blew this logo up and I was able to discern two eye's on the lower portions of the pinky and ring fingers near where the cuticle or fingernails would reside. I like the eyes!!

I'm fine with it. I don't LOVE the peace sign, but the design is cool.

Well the person who is working on the release of the new album posted that this is the album cover.
