this is just my thoughts but i think STP should open up a show with Press Play that would be so kick ass, what do you guys think?

They opened and closed with Press Play when I saw them in Dallas in 1996.  It was the album recording of the song, though, not actually a live performance. However, I believe they did play Daisy live at that show, if I remember correctly.  They also played Dancing Days and My Sharona at that show.  Wow, 1996 was a long time ago!

Another reason I wish I had seen the short lived Tiny Music tour.

Yup, they opened with it at the Portland, ME show on 04/25/97 too.  I was at that one.  I am old.

I hear ya... I was at the Chicago show at the Rosemont Horizon when Dennis Rodman (yes, Dennis Rodman) performed Sex Type Thing with Weiland on his shoulders.... I thought it was cool that they sampled Press Play for the opener.

On another note, Pop's is a great song that I'd love to hear in concert again. Not likely though.

yes i agree... and they should combine it with No More Memory, that would be awsome. like, open with JPP and then stick NMM on the end of it.

but not Daisy, that one sucks.

Maybe they could put "Half the Man I Used to Be" in there, too.

And add their cover of Pour Some Sugar on Me.

LOL! They actually used to play Daisy during the Tiny Music tour. It was part of the sit down acoustic portion in the middle of the set. The DeLeo's would come out and play that first while Weiland was still changing or whatnot for the intermission.  Daisy is a bit of a throw away compared to "Used to Know Her" (which is terrific), but I always thought it was cool that they'd fill the time with it. It was sort of a bonus performance as opposed to some awkward jam!

yeah, i agree that instrumentals like that are better than awkward jams. But whatever happened to bands putting them on their albums?
-Oasis has two on (Whats The Story) Morning Glory?
-Collective Souls has Pretty Donna from their debut album (Hints, Allegations and Things Left Unsaid)
-Poison has Native Tongue on their early ninty's album Native Tongue (its the first track)
-Marilyn Manson has one at the end of his Holy Wood album
-Pearl Jam have that awesome wierd thing they have at the end of Release from their 1990 album, Ten (not its individual track though... but still awesome. that songs kicks ass!)
-Slik Toxik has Rachels Dead at the end of their debut album, Doin the Nasty.

but those are the only ones i know aside from STP's, and STP hasn't done it since Tiny Music. I wish STP would do another one and make it 2 minutes. maybe something electric/acoustic.... like the style that Seether used for their set One Cold Night.
