Scott and his bullhorn
« on: March 11, 2010, 11:02:27 AM »
I'm sure I'm not the only one. But growing up as an STP fan I always wished I had my own bullhorn so I could bust out STP lyrics through them and do STP songs such as Dead & Bloated, Naked Sunday and Crackerman among other STP/VR related songs ya know? lol

I love it. Scott's a pretty rad guy, I don't think very many people could get away with singing into a megaphone.  O0

I think he sometimes overdoes the bullhorn, especially in VR performances.

Hmm never thought that before. I love the bullhorn...pretty unique. I know he isn't the first or only person to use one in concert, but his "bullhorn style" is definitely out there and has definitely established itself as a pretty cool trademark of Scott's.

At the 6/28/08 concert in The Woodlands, TX....Scott gave away his megaphone to somebody in the audience after the show....JEALOUS!

As it turned out, when we were leaving, that guy was parked next to us and I asked him if I could say something through it and he let. I gave my own little rendition of the end of Crackerman.

I should have bopped him on the head and jacked the megaphone instead :) .....j/k   lucky bastard!

I was at that Woodlands show in '08...I thought that it was a woman that got the megaphone after giving Scott a pink STP shirt at the end of the show...

Yeah I'm with some other people on that one, I don't mind the bullhorn or megaphone when Scott does it. I loved it in Sucker Train Blues. I used to like when he would go crazy on it and usually say "motherfucker!" or other fowl language to the audience. lol  I think I remember way back in the beginning of the STP days when they were touring with the Butthole Surfers that the lead singer Gibby Haynes was it? He used one and I think claimed that he had been using it way before Scott ever did.
