No problem, I'm listening through some crap computer speakers, but I'm pretty sure about what I think I deciphered.  I like the whimsical nature of the lyrics, more of a free-flow vehicle for the melody than a deep message.

I called the 'stay away' reference way early on in the other thread from the live version.. I totally agree it is more of a homage then anything, it doesn't consume the song and for what little amount of time it is in there - it makes sense and sounds great...

The more i hear it the more i love it, reallt really cant wait for the album now, as if i wasn't excited enough already!

all right, i dont want to offend anyone here or disagree but i am going to have to. The new song isn't very thrilling for me. It sounds like something quikcly thrown together and that the band simply needs to come out with a new record but doesn't want to. I think of still remains, seven caged tigers and sin when i think of songs that were heavily produced and had wonderful hooks. I'm just not seeing it here. Also, the length of the song... I fear that it took the band 8 years to release 35 minutes of new music. Anyone agree or am I all alone? I know that the STP sound has morhped and changed a lot over time and yes the song could be much worse, but i have to say it just isn't my kind of tune. the album cover isn't anything great and the song titles are basic too. I feel the band has gone downhill in a big way. I'm sure everyone is gonna start throwing rocks but i had to get my piece out there.

No rocks here.  Music quality is in the ear of the beholder.  I personally like the song a lot, but it's fine to have a different opinion.  Here's hoping you find a majority of the album to your liking!
