The clip itself is really good... for a teaser that is (I love the Tiny-Music vibe from it), still waiting until Monday morning to hear the entire track.

On both No.4 and SLDD when we first got clips of the lead single i liked them but it took the whole song for me to really get into the song. This 18 second clip has really pulled me in hard. I can't wait for the whole thing. This could be the best lead single since BBB

Based on the chorus lyrics, it's possible that "between the lines" is not so much a reference to the old saying "read between the lines" but a reference to Mary being Scott's drug "between the lines" of coke.  If so, that is right clever.

/baseless conjecture.

I can't judge from such a short clip. I'm wondering if this little part is a buildup to the refrain or is part of the refrain itself. It's hard to tell. I wonder what the bridge will sound like. This song gives me a Big Bang Baby vibe.

I am guessing based on what we heard from before that this is the chorus and the line "I like it when we talk about love" is prevelant in the song.
