this is awsome i wonder if this is gonna be the rocker song or the ballad kinda song cause with all there albums i was always excited with that u had big empty ballad than vasoline the rocker etc, lol this is gonna be exciting i also will be having fun with the downloads here and im gonna grab that rolling stone mag and see what kinda exciting news there will be oh man what a great year!

Since they produced the album themselves, I suppose they also are hand-picking the singles they want to be released, right?

Something tells me Atlantic had input.  Hopefully it was a mutual agreement.   Also hopefully STP has more sway over decisions like this than Atlantic's latest batch of 20 year olds.

I encourage everyone to contact their local rock stations and bug them to play it 24/7 when it's released. It's up to us to bring STP back to the top of the music world (or kinda sorta maybe close).

Will do! Lot's of the rock stations here in San Diego play a lot of STP so they would be idiots if they refused to play "Between the Lines".

I remember saying a few weeks back that I would temporarily retire from Below Empty so the album wouldn't get spoiled for me. However I'm that anxious to hear new STP. Listening to the first single won't hurt ;)
