Yep. Nothing that we havn't heard before. However, I didn't know Tom Petty had a new album coming out. That made me happy  ;D

Yes, I'm really looking forward to the Petty album, it's supposed to be more bluesy and more of an Allman Brothers style album.  The new song that is streaming on his website is really cool and pretty bluesy.  He just announced a huge tour too, so look for that!

I think my subscription for RS ended anyway - so it's no biggie.
Sort of want that picture, though. I'll just go to the store and tear it out like the rebel I am.  O0

They announced a Chicago date in July. I've never seen Petty, and I'd like too. Not sure if it's possible this year though. I have missed out on him so many times because I was always going to another show on the same night.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

WTF I was at the grocery store an hour ago, and I saw the March 4th edition of Rolling Stone, with Eric Clapton and I think Beck on the cover.

I pawed through every page because I was going to buy it, but there was nothing about STP in it. Is this the wrong issue?

I have a scan of the article + picture (both are small), but I'm at work and don't have access to any upload sites.  If someone wants to upload it for the board, just PM with your email.

Same here, this excites me more than anything about the record to be quite honest!

Yes, thank you! Too bad the journalist spent the first half of the composition discussing how Scott recorded alone instead of imparting deeper introspection into the albums tracks and vibes. He sounds favorably in tune with the album though.
