Sometimes with certain publications, the subscribers recieve the new issues a day or two before they hit newstands. I take it this isn't the case here, as we would have seen this article already.

I've been a RS subscriber for... 15? years now.  It never comes to subscribers "early" - as a matter of fact, I usually get it a day or two after it hits newsstands.  It's hardly the "holy grail of music news" it once was - this last issue featured a wind-burned, chapped, stoned looking Sean White and barely  broke 60 pages.

I saw the Clapton one at the newsstand this morning as well, the date was March 4th and it was issue 1099.

So the four-page spread of him and his ugly little snowboard friends wasn't enough last issue?  Now they're going for the cover?

Heres a link to the table of contents for the new issue, no mention of STP, they'll be mentioned in the "Spring Music Preview" in which they also review MGMT and Katie Perry, so dont expect much more that what we've already heard about the STP disc.

i just went down to 711 they dont get the new rs till tomorrow i guess thurdays is when rs comes out unless some other store has it im gonna have to grab it tomorrow
