I love it. In Detroit it was "hey Detroit, here's a little Louisiana for you."

And in Indianapolis it's "this song is an ode to Detroit Rock City."

MAKE UP YOUR MIND, SCOTT!

Great videos, JWF. Scott still sounds a little out of it, but he's coherent.

Great show once again for these guys. Scott came out first contrary to what he was doing last tour when everyone was complaining because he came out last to a grand entrance. I've seen them twice this tour and he has been the first on stage at the beginning of the show and for the encore. Vaseline started off a little rough as Scott came in too early singing the first verse. Rob immediately came over to Weiland and said something to him letting him know that he came in early. After that the show went on pretty much without a hitch other than a small flub up in Dead & Bloated. Either way these were mistakes that would only be noticed by hardcore fans like us on this website and it had no effect on how great this show really was. Scott talked between songs about the Final Four and said that he had his money on STP but when picking teams, he had Butler winning their first game because underdogs "have a lot of power". The band at one point started a funky improv jam and Rob was tearing it up on bass. Scott mentioned that Rob is the best rock bass player in the world. Rob has some serious skills and I would love to hear him shred on a regular guitar because I guarantee he can. After Loungefly I was expecting Piece of Pie but when they came out Dean played the first few notes of the Star Spangled Banner on guitar and then went into Roadhouse Blues which was a bad-ass rendition. The crowd loved it and STP owned it once again.

Couldn't have said it better than bigemptysg did. Other than the the two mess ups on Vasoline and Dead and Bloated (kind of funny how it seems to be those two songs on this tour) the band was fucking amazing and the crowd ate it up, that was probably the most energetic crowd i've been in at an STP show and in a good way! This was a good call for STP! There was atleast 10,000 people or so here so it was good for them! I took my friend Brad to see them for the first time and he's always been a fan, but never got really into them and that changed after last night. Scott seemed to be loving the energy as well.

Ditto. I believe Dean's exact quote regarding Rob's guitar playing is "He can play anything we've ever written for STP"

Really glad to hear the show went well.
