I wonder how soon we're going to hear Hickory Dichotomy, Bagman & Huckleberry Crumble.

I haven't heard it yet, but I'm already pretty sure Hickory Dichotomy is gonna be my favorite.

I wonder if during Hollywood Bitch Dean did the "she goes again!" part. I hope so. I want to hear Dean sing.

I'm stoked they played Hollywood Bitch. Awesome, awesome song.

Now after listening to it multiple times, definitely sounds like 90's heavy Grunge era STP with a little bit of pop sensibility with the chorus.  Great song, definitely sounds like a huge hit and has huge balls.  Scott will definitely get shit for stealing the Nirvana part though, but it sounds great to me!  Also Dean's solo fucking KICKS ASS!

STP Shows: 5/1/08, 6/24/08, 12/31/08, 7/1/09, 5/25/10, 6/5/10, 10/29/10, 9/22/12, 5/30/13, 9/1/13
Velvet Revolver Shows: 7/22/06, 9/15/07
Scott Weiland Shows: 12/14/08, 12/8/11

Yeah, this song sounds more like Down/Heaven and Hotrods/Sex Type Thing than Days of the Week.  The poppy chorus gives a new spin on it though so it isn't rehashed.  Man I love it, I NEED THE STUDIO VERSION RIGHT NOW!

It's got 117 plays in a little more than an hour. So by tomorrow, this should be all over the internet, assuming YouTube doesn't remove the video due to a copyright claim. I'm hoping they won't, but Them Crooked Vultures had the live videos from their first show removed shortly after they were posted due to a copyright claim from the man himself, Joshua Homme.

So you never know. I'm assuming other people will post video, and I'm assuming other people will have a camera with better sound quality. I'm stoked though, we got to hear Between The Lines in it's entirety.

And I think we can safely say that "Between The Lines" is an allusion for doing drugs, probably blow. Clever, Scott! Hopefully everybody else can read between the lines....

I wonder.... Was the phrase "between the lines" in Interstate Love Song also an allusion? We may never know. If I meet Scott on Monday, I'll ask him.

Edit: 136.... I just took a really long time to reply, I guess. But uhm. How many of those plays were from us? I've probably listened at least a dozen times....

No. I don't see how it sounds like Down or Sex Type Thing since there's nothing dark about the song. this song is poppy as hell but that doesn't mean i'm complaining. it sounds happy and poppy just like DOTW  and i do like that song a lot.

Everybody needs to make sure to rip the audio of any video they find of the new songs in case the label take the videos down.  Especially do it for me since I'm going to finally have to go to sleep soon!

I managed to listen to it once before my seniors came into class to sit a practice paper.   ;D

Can't say much about it with that sound but the vocal sounded quite interesting.

Now I have to wait until I get home - hopefully, we'll have more by then.
