I am completely wiped out after this gig.
This is what an STP show should be like. I had no idea what they were going to play or when, and it made the night magical.
The venue was completely packed after The Color Turning and TAB were done with their sets, I really believe that this was THE show to be at for SXSW this year.
STP went on at 10:30 as scheduled, to an entrance song I've not heard before...let the new mystery begin.
The fellas really brought the energy tonight, SW was definitely into the show, and made several comments to the crowd throughout the night.
I've attached a copy of the setlist, which included Hollywood Bitch, Between the Lines, Hickory Dichotomy, Bagman, Huckleberry Crumble, and Roadhouse Blues with RK.
Amazing gig.
I was able to get one of like 5 Self Titled promo posters, it's in the picture as well.
No new merch just yet, but they did have an exclusive SXSW tee, so I picked that up also.
Hung out after and got to chat with Eric and Dean...told them I really dig the new stuff, and they signed my poster and setlist!
Off to bed now - Bossier City tomorrow!!!
