I have 14 ticket stubs from STP concerts that I've bought. However, I have to admit that I've only seen them 12 times. Once, in 2002, I was arrested while on my way to one show. I remember being cuffed in the cop car and asking the cop how long this would all take cause I had to make it to a concert. He laughed at me. Prick... And once, last July, I was so excited and drank so much Jack Daniels before the show, I blacked-out and don't remember seeing them what-so-ever. My friends tell me I had a blast until I fell asleep on the lawn. I've never forgiven myself for that, but I feel redeemed by seeing them 2 nights in a row this past October, and I now posses my 15th ticket for the 13th time I'll see them this May.

Anyway, here's my list:
1) Landover, MD 5/28/00 - HFStival, FedEx Field
2) Fairfax, VA 10/25/00 - Revenge of the Rock Tour w/ Godsmack, Patriot Center
3) Latrobe, PA 8/4/01 - Rolling Rock Town Fair
4) Washington D.C. 10/18/01 - Family Values Tour, MCI Center
5) Philadelphia, PA 10/22/01 - Family Values Tour, 1st Union Center
6) Norfolk, VA 4/16/02 - The Norva
7) Asbury Park, NJ 10/11/02 - Convention Hall (*This is the show I was on my way to when I was arrested and never made it.)
8) Philadelphia, PA 10/16/02 - Electric Factory
---Long grueling break where I thought I'd never see them again---
9) Columbus, OH 5/17/08 - Rock on the Range, Crew Stadium
10) Camden, NJ 5/18/08 - MMRBQ, Susquehanna Bank Center
11) Baltimore, MD 8/10/08 - Virgin Fest, Pimlico Race Course
12) Columbia, MD 7/19/09 - Merriweather Pavilion (*This is the show I got too drunk & blacked-out)
13) Virginia Beach, VA 10/9/09 - nTelos Pavilion
14) Reading, PA 10/10/09 - Eagle Theater

Of the 12 shows I've attended, here's what I've seen performed live:

CORE - I've seen everything from this album, EXCEPT: Naked Sunday, Where the River Goes, and only a partial of Wet My Bed

PURPLE - I've seen everything from this album, but only a partial of Still Remains

TINY MUSIC - Tumble in the Rough, Big Bang Baby, Lady Picture Show, Trippin on a Hole, Daisy, 7 Caged Tigers, only a partial of And So I Know

No.4 - Down, Sour Girl, No Way Out, Sex & Violence, I Got You, Atlanta

SHANGRI-LA - Days of the Week, Coma, Hollywood Bitch, Too Cool Queenie, Long Way Home

THANKYOU - All in the Suit That You Wear

COVERS - Shine on You Crazy Diamond, Dancing Days, Moby Dick, a partial of Smoke on the Water, a partial of Over the Hills and Far Away

Having been fortunate enough to see STP as many times as I have, I realized while compiling this list that I've seen a nice collection of their work. Sure, I'd like to see some different stuff sometimes, but I'll never complain. I've been witness to 2 songs they've only played once ever -- I Got You and Long Way Home. Looking forward to adding their much anticipated 6th album to this list in a few weeks. (I really don't count Thankyou as their 6th album, do you? Topic for another thread I suppose.)

I went to the Asbury Park and the Electric Factory one a few days later.  Same basic set list, except the Electric Factory one was better.

When was the partial of And So I know done???  I thought they hadn't done that since '96

Yea I can remember reading the setlists back then and feeling better about not missing anything from the Asbury Park show. I didn't know, obviously, which show was a better performance, but knowing that you went to both and liked the Electric Factory show better is good enough for me.

As for when I saw And So I Know... It was the show in Norfolk, VA @the Norva. It was less than a minute during acoustic back to electric set. I'll honestly say that this was one of the very best shows I've seen STP cause it felt so intimate there.
have fun, have fun, have a whole lot of fun!

I've seen the band four times (00,01,02,08) and these are the tunes:
Core - D & B, Cracker, STT, Plush, Pie, Creep, Wicked G, Sin
Purple - Vasoline, Lounge Fly, ILS, Still Remains, SS, Big E, K & C
Tiny Music - BBB, LPS, Trippin
No. 4 - Down, Sour Girl
SLDD - Coma, Hollywood Bitch, TCQ
Misc - Suit, Dancing Days

When I saw Scott's solo show, they band played Unglued. Not the same, but cool to hear.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

When you start listing the songs you "haven't" seen, that's when you know you have a problem.   ;)

For all the set list bitching that goes on here....it's funny my wife and I were discussing on the drive back from AIC last night, the songs STP has played just since the reunion.....   considering there was no new music that was going to be performed, people really shouldn't complain too much.  Sure, a few more songs mixed in from 4 or SLDD would have been cool (Dumb Love would be awesome if somehow the vocals can be done live without bastardizing the song itself).  But you know, the crowds were really lame when they would play anything that wasn't well known.  When I saw 7CT's, I looked around, the crowd was as excited as someone who was about to have their thumb cut off by an ax.  At the end of the day, STP is screwed unless they are going to play 2.5 hours.  They have too many songs that the fringe fan (which is the vast majority of PAYING concert goers) want to hear.  It doesn't leave them with much wiggle room.

Some songs live are far better than the recorded version and vice versa.  Or at least some great recorded songs played live take them up a notch.  Personally, I think Vasoline and BE are two great songs, but live they can be epic.  Sour Girl, leave at home, don't need to see the thing performed.  I would rather see Wonderful or I Got You during the slow down phase of the show-but I understand that 99% of the people at the show would take a pee break it that happened.

That's what I should have done!  Dammit.  I'm questioning the fact that you've seen "And So I Know," though.  And if you HAVE seen it, then I seriously hate you.  Worse than I already hate you for having "Atlanta" up on me.  And wait.  Unless you caught "Penny" at that 1996 show, you know something I don't.  To hell with you and that 7up coat, anyway.   :D

Damm, those '96 shows were pretty much a die-hard STP fan's dream come true. Awesome sets, acoustic set, etc.

They played a teaser of "And So I Know" during a few of the '96 shows during the acoustic part of the gigs.
STP: 08/22/10 - Cleveland, OH.

Caught "Atlanta" as part of the Scott Weiland Solo shows...technically not the same, but good enough to scratch it off the "TO DO" list!

Saw "Penny" 4 times - 1996, both nights of the Nov '01 LV gigs, and April 25, 2002 in FL.
