Awesome news, but might be the worlds worst venue

I don't know much about the venue but what's so bad about it?

The Sound is atrocious!  Especially if you are on the lawn.  I wish this was at the PNC Bank Arts Center, it is a much better Amphitheater in the state.  If you go I would recommend spending the extra money to sit in the seats!

All I know is that Camden is a bad part of town.

It can't be much more shaddier then Elizabeth. Jersey is interesting for the short time I was there.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

Camden is the worst city in the state.  Makes Newark look like high society!  I think it is rated 2nd worst city in the country if I'm not mistaken.

i'm from philly and head down to tweeter usually twice a year.  yea camden is bad but the area where the venue is isn't too bad, and if youre taking the train in there are tons of police everywhere.  during the day it wont be bad either.  the lawn isn't the greatest but its a fun time, but if you can spend the extra money for down low i'd definitely do that

Usually the MMRBQ's are a really good time and with this lineup its absolute must see

Well...this has been a tough decision to make but since i'm already seeing AIC in less than a month and i'm sure i'll see STP sometime in 2010, I probably wont go to this gig afterall so I can save up for BONNAROO! Always wanted to go and this year the lineup is great in my opinion so I'm saving up NOW for that shit hell yeah
My STP shows: 8/10/2008, 7/19/2009, 10/10/2009, 5/22/2010, 4/26/2011, 4/24/2015   Weiland solo: 1/29/2009, 11/29/2012, 3/13/2015    VR: 8/5/2007

Fuel fans! Brett must be back. I got this off of Blabbermouth:

STONE TEMPLE PILOTS and ALICE IN CHAINS will co-headline 93.3 WMMR's MMR*B*Q 2010 festival on Sunday, May 23 at the Susquehanna Bank Center in Camden, Ner Jersey.

The festival billing is shaping up as follows:

STONE TEMPLE PILOTS
ALICE IN CHAINS
3 DAYS GRACE
FUEL (feat. lead singer Brett Scallions)
SKILLET

Tickets are just $49.50 for Pavilion and lawn. Pit tickets are $75. You can also choose the Lawn Party Pack: four Lawn tickets for the price of three ($150).

The show is general admission/festival style for the first three bands.

Tickets go on sale this Friday, Febraury 12 at noon.
Dedicated. Disgusting. Disturbing.

I'm just sittin' on this merry-go-round, and the music is too loud..

I saw that Bretts with the other guys in Fuel in a band called "Re-Fueled", but I hope he just rejoins them in the regular band permanently.

Can someone shed some light on this Brett Scallion thing???  I read nothing but the MMR website that he is back with Fuel for this concert?  Doesn't make any sense
